individual skin types. Ingredients
such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide
have natural sunscreen capabilities when
used in the proper percentages.
Zinc Oxide is a known anti-inflammatory
ingredient used in moderation.
Certain ingredients can cause skin
irritation such as biron and bismuth.
Though as is the case with all skin
types, certain ingredients may cause

How Are
RAESIN IMAGES™
Mineral Makeup Cosmetic Loose Face
Powder Products Different?
Our mineral make up formulas were
specifically designed to target all skin
types. We want no women to feel
left out because of her ethnicity or
skin type. Rae Kat Switzer owner
and founder of RAESIN
IMAGES
is Native American and Scandinavian,
knowing that there wasn't a foundation
or base product in the world that would
exactly match her cultural diverse skin
tones, she formulated one for herself,
and in the process for millions of other
culturally diverse globally shared
women's skin tones.
Kat believes that if she doesn't have a
foundation base shade that will
compliment or match your skins specific
tones, she will create one for that
individual client, as in the process
that particular mineral formulated shade
will undoubtedly help other women with
the same skin tone.
RAESIN
IMAGES
is about helping women look and feel
better and whatever we can do to help in
this process of self-esteem, we,
RAESIN IMAGES
will! |

Is Mica Safe In Mineral Foundations?
There is ongoing research regarding most
mineral ingredients by the FDA and
research teams. RAESIN
IMAGES
Mineral Makeup Cosmetics research,
development, and formulating teams want
to make sure women feel completely
comfortable and safe with the
ingredients we provide in our formulas.
We choose not to use high mica substrate
particles in any of our mineral
foundations, pressed or liquid mineral
makeup products. Depending on the
micronization levels mica can/does cause
surface abrasions. Mica substrate
particles in mineral foundation or face
powder Ingredients may cause cystic acne
lesions by cutting/tearing small
microscopic holes in delicate facial
tissue, thus allowing microbial
bacterial from the air, touch, phone,
cell use, or any pollutants from any
touched surface to enter.
|
|
Should I Avoid Products Containing
Bismuth or Biron?
These two specific ingredients over the
last few years have also brought to the
forefront a discerning amount of cystic
acne lesions among wearers of mineral
foundations as well as chemical
foundations including either of these
ingredients in their formulas.
Clinical studies are ongoing as this
problem is now being eliminated as many
mineral make up cosmetic manufacturing
companies that have decided to not
include this specific ingredient at this
time in their mineral cosmetic
foundation products.
Please be aware that bismuth and biron
may have other FDA allowed common pseudo
names. |
|
Do You Use FD& C Dyes Or Lake Blends In
Your Mineral Makeup?
Absolutely NOT! FD&C dyes and or
Lake Blends are chemicals know to cause
acne breakouts, especially along the
jawline, cheek and chin. Some dyes
are highly comedogenic and acnegenic.
Low end and high end cosmetic companies
alike use FD& C colorants in their
blush, cheek and bronzer shades, as well
a lip colors. |

Do I need an SPF Sunscreen Product
Before Using My RAESIN IMAGES Mineral
Foundation Face Powders?
Our Mineral X-treme, Transform, or
ExtraOrdinary foundation powders all
contain an SPF level of at least 15 as
we carry over the mandated percentages
required by the FDA for usage of
specific broad spectrum ingredients,
such as triple milled titanium dioxide
and zinc oxide or stearate.
But by all means is you are used to and
feel more comfortable wearing an
additional sunscreen product with the
designated SPF levels you personally
require then please do so. Some of
our everyday mineral makeup wearers are
steadfast in their skin care routines
and we wouldn't want them to have to
change to accommodate any of our
products. Our minerals work
perfectly with any skin care regime. |
|
Do You Carry Waterproof Mineral Make Up
Cosmetic Products?
We have seen claims from other mineral
makeup companies that their products are
waterproof. No mineral makeup
product that we've seen on the market is
waterproof via the FDA standards, though
depending on the ingredients and
percentages they can be water resistant
as per the FDA allowance claims.
Our mineral foundation products are
water resistant tested and will not
readily come off underwater or with
regular perspiration. If you are
prone to a high oil or perspiration
level in your skin due to hormones,
temperatures, climate, humidity, area of
country, then you will want to make sure
you are following specific application
instructions included with all orders.
If you spend over time on a cell phone
or other such object stuck to your face,
chin area makeup will wear off with the
repetitive rubbing motion as is common
with all foundation products, except
paint ingredient stay-on foundations,
where the ingredients are similar to
house paint and won't come off even with
makeup removers. |
|
Is It Safe to Use RAESIN IMAGES Mineral
Makeup Cosmetic Products After Surgery?
As with any makeup products we advise
our clients to check with their
physicians first. But with our
in-house clinical testing team we found
all our makeup products safe to use
after surgery and especially nice for
cancer patients wanting to look and feel
their best. |
|
Are Your Mineral Makeup Products Good
For Teens?
Yes, and actually all of our mineral
makeup products were tested by teens for
longevity. We have found that the
teen population has the worst habits in
keeping their hands off their skin, so
when testing foundation and other powder
products we used our exclusive teen team
to help formulated our "Minerals That
Adhere"™.
Teens that use mineral make up can
greatly benefit when using RAESIN
IMAGES
cosmetics and natural skin care
products. The ingredients in our
alternative to bare mineral makeup
formulas have been proven by clients and
customers alike to help skin counteract
the daily stress that can cause havoc on
teenage skin. Our foundation
mineral loose powder formulations are
hypo, acne, and non-comedogenic.
We've had nothing but great feedback
regarding how our products react to
teenage clientele skin. |

How Are
RAESIN IMAGES
Cosmetics, Mineral Make Up Products
Applied?
Our clients generally prefer a flocked
foundation sponge, or designated
foundation, kabuki brush for an easy
application of our mineral foundation
loose face powders. Our mineral
foundation formulas are VERY highly
pigmented, and a very very little goes a
long way. When applying with the
appropriate brush or sponge you will not
have mineral powder flying amuck, as is
common with all other know mineral
makeup brands.
When formulating RAESIN
IMAGES
loose face powder foundations we knew we
wanted an non-messy powder mineral
foundation, as there was and is a high
amount of complaint among other mineral
brand consumers as to the waste and mess
of mineral foundation powders. Our
pure pigment minerals work great when
applied with a normal makeup wedge.
"We're not one of the crowd, we
formulate mineral makeup that adheres."

Is Your Mineral Makeup Good For Skin
With Rosacea?
Yes, the pure pigmented natural minerals
provide a total coverage foundation,
capable of camouflaging rosacea, acne,
hyperpigmention and even tattoos with
proper application.
Developed for women by women with "Real"
skin issues, we here at RAESIN IMAGES
know first hand the effects it can have
on anyone's self esteem to not look and
feel great about ourselves.
Rosacea is often misdiagnosed, in an
estimated 90% personal non-physician
linked cases. Facial skin redness can
and usually is actually inflamed skin,
irritation, sensitivity, temporarily
caused by stress, environment, caffeine,
skin care products, chemicals, tap or
well water, just to mention a few known
skin redness lined causes.
Please note, caffeine is a large problem
for skin, causing redness, enlarged
pores, sagging skin, dark undereye
circles, as well as early lines and
wrinkles caused by the hyperactivity of
skin muscles and nerves contracting as
caffeine jolts the body for up to 6
hours after drinking.
Caffeine doesn't just keep the body
alert for short periods of time, it
contracts muscles in distorting patterns
as excessive facial gestures while
depleting the bodies source of water
necessary for cell growth and hydrated
skin. Try NOT having but one cup of
coffee per day for a few weeks and
you'll notice a HUGE improvement into
your skins appearance. The same
goes for smoking and drinking of
alcoholic beverages as we know you're
all aware the havoc they play on yours
and others health. |

I've heard that
micronized minerals are bad, is this
true?
LOL NO! I have to
address this question with a chuckle
because I even saw a very well know MMU
company say her minerals were not
micronized. lololo ALL
Minerals are micronized! So is
DIRT! and Flour! :)
Ladies I have a
Bachlors degree in Cosmetic Chemistry
and am working on my Masters :) so
let me tell you from FACT that anything
in POWDER form is micronized IE
Micron -/+ sized. :)
The damage to the skin
from micronized minerals could come from
the sizing IF it was able to get into
your tiny pores and I laugh when I say
IF!
The Truth is the harsh
nasty brushes and the way one TV brand
has demonstrated so others jumped on
that bandwagon, perhaps because their
products aren't able to be applied like
COLOUR ID MINERALS are with a sponge or
mixed with water or moisturizers.
It could be also be that since they
purchase cheap harsh brushes for pennies
from Asia that they forgot about what
they would do to our delicate dermal
layers??? $$$ seemed to be more
important then health and safety of the
consumer.
If necessary product
application combined with ingredients
like bismuth and or biron which is/are
very damaging to skin, not healing as so
claimed, it's no wonder so many
customers have caused skin damage with
harsh brushing and PUSHING of products
into skin like they have recommended.
Any harsh actions like
buffing, swirling, pushing in to the
skin can and will cause small tears.
These tears and dirty (wash application
brushes daily daily daily) poor bristle
brushes (A brush and bristle change by
several company came after this
information was originally posted on our
website) and application methods are
what can and do cause problems as it
allows bacteria to enter skin.
The bacteria is from
un-sanitary handling and mixing from
companies assuming minerals can't be
contaminated. Whomever wrote that
article and posted it on the MMU forums
has caused irrefutable damage to those
businesses purchasing all those private
label products that are really someone
else's brand and going from hand to hand
to hand to aide in severe contamination.
NO FDA, they are broke, you all watched
this on the news over the last few weeks
right!! It's on CCN so check it out!
They may not be causing all the problems
themselves but those purchasing
companies personal owners and employees
skin and hair debris do fall into your
containers and like you have read of
forums, so does their cigarette ashes
and dog hair. Gross. |
